PROBLEMS AND THE JOURNEY OF FAITH

PROBLEMS AND THE JOURNEY OF FAITH

As Jesus passes by, He saw a man who was blind from his birth and his disciples asked him saying "Master who did sin , this man or his parents that made him to be born blind?" Jesus answered, Neither with this man sinned nor his parents "But that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
"As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth".
"His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
“Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him".
John 9:1-3

"Now a man named Lazarus was sick. He was from Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister" Martha".
"This Mary, whose brother Lazarus now lay sick, was the same one who poured perfume on the Lord and wiped his feet with her hair"
"So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you love is sick.”
"When he heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.”
 John 11:1-4

These two Bible references makes know two basic truth:-
  • From birth to death , man will continue to encounter problems.
  • No matter how serious the Problem or the hardship is, God want to take glory over it.
Since we are human, we can not do without problem, If we do not have problems, we can not sail through our journey of  faith successfully. We may think that because we are upright we should not encounter problem.

Job 1:1 recorded that Job was
  • Perfect
  • Upright
  • God fearing
  • And en-chewed evil

Yet He had so many problems which starred him in the face.
When some people read through the problems encounter by Job, they think/said that Job is non-human or super-human. The truth is that God was to take Glory over the problem of Job and Yours.

You too may be undergoing a lot of stress and agony. It is part of your journey of faith so far as  you are in the Lord.
However, know it that God has a glorious plan for you.

For you to know the plans and the thoughts He have for you,
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". Jeremiah 29:11

He never require much from you, Just tell surrender your life to him and tell Him to come into your life, Wash me thoroughly with the blood of Jesus that is been shed on the cross of Calvary and reign over you and you life, family and household. Help me to live a consecrated life all the days of your life.
