Where your look is can either make you fall or make you stand depending on who you look.
" Looking unto Jesus the author and the finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the same, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.Consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds" Hebrew 12:2-3.
Jesus was looking at someone when he work the earth and it was the father. That is also why he separated always to meet with the father in fellowship.
Jesus is God in human flesh.God came on his own to redeemed man but did not come as God but man, ( read John 1:1-13), that is why he go through the process of life and did what he came earth for.
Even from his birth, there was no involvement of the man Joseph with Mary before Mary conceived in her womb. His birth was announced by angel Gabriel, see her respond, " Then said Mary unto the angel,How should this be seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The HOLY GHOST shall come upon thee, and the power of the highest shall over shadow thee: therefore also that the holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the son of God " Luke 1: 34- 35.
Jesus had a choice to either obey what he was send to do or not.So don't think he did not understand you, he understand you because he once work the earth. Almost to his death, the burden of what he came to do was heavy on him that he have to tell God to let the cup ( his death) pass over him not his will but let God will be done.( read Matthew 26:39). It was his look on the father through fellowship with him that keep him going.
Jesus is now exalted by God that is why he is the authorized person to look unto to reach God and no other. "Wherefore God had highly exalted him, given him a name which is above every name. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow of things in heaven, of things in earth and things under the earth; And that every tongues should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the father ". Philippians 2: 9-11. So where is your look? If your look is on God, you will pass through Jesus Christ.Know your look. Prayer .
