Some years ago, I knew a lady who was deeply in love with a young man. They were doing very well together until the guy began to cheat on her. She really loved the guy and so she cried and pleaded and did all she could yet the guy didn't change. Then, she tried something crazy
She said yes to another guy who had been pestering her for relationship. The next week, she visited the new guy and they had sex. She became pregnant and everything she did to get rid of the pregnancy didn't work. She found herself in a "Marriage by Mistake." Some years later, she confessed that she's been miserable in that marriage because she never had any affection whatsoever towards her so called husband. Affection comes naturally, you can't force it
A few days ago, we were in a commercial bus travelling to another state when police stopped our bus and asked some young guys to come down. They had suspected that these guys were internet fraudsters and so were searching for evidence. The rest of us got impatient and began to complain
Then one of the passengers made a statement; "we can't blame those guys for being internet fraudsters, it's the situation of the country." That got me really upset and my reply was "are they the only ones in the country who are suffering? Does being unemployed give anyone license to hack people's account, send fake SMS defrauding innocent people?
The truth is that many of those who do evil or wrong have one justification or the other somewhere in their hearts. They feel compelled to do it due to their experiences but nothing justifies evil no matter what anybody does to you
That lady felt she needed to take revenge on her boyfriend; she felt justified cheating on a guy who had been cheating on her but ended up caging herself in an unwanted marriage.
No matter what evil anyone does to you, you must remain focused so you don't get infected by it. You cannot determine what people do to you but it's within your power to determine how you respond to it
Some ladies are having affairs with many men at once just because of what someone did to them in the past; some married women are cheating because they felt it's a way to avoid being a fool as their husbands have been cheating on them
Someone would fight with a neighbour or colleague and when you ask "why did you do that?" she would say, "she tore my cloth first." Some have stopped singing in the choir or even going to church because of what the choir coordinator or pastor did to them
The one that is so common is that of those who keep malice because someone they quarrelled with didn't greet them first or didn't answer their greetings. While most hackers believe it's their responsibility to dupe white people because they enslaved their African fathers. If a mad man slaps you and you slap him back both of you would be regarded as mad people. If those white men behaved like monsters must you be a monster too?
Before the law, you're not permitted to kill because someone killed your brother. If you do, you're taking the laws into your hands.
Don't take the laws of God into your hands saying God understands. God doesn't understand nor justify evil. Let God be the judge. Just do what is right because before God, evil is evil. It cannot be justified by any evil done to you in the past, no matter how bad it is
